Indulge the newlyweds in your life with a special gift basket to help them kickoff their honeymoon in style. The basket can include edible goodies, adult novelty items or romantic items, depending on what you think they might enjoy. They may have been too busy planning their wedding to plan for their first night as husband and wife. Send the basket to their hotel room ahead of time to give them a sweet little surprise to enjoy on their honeymoon.
Find out which hotel the couple will be checking into. Ask the bride's mother, the maid of honor or the bride herself. Ask casually if you want the basket to be a complete surprise.
Call the hotel and ask the concierge desk about the hotel's policies on gift baskets. Some hotels may offer special gift baskets that you can simply order over the phone. Otherwise, the concierge will be able to direct you on any restrictions or policies the hotel has.
Order the gift basket and have it shipped directly to the hotel, arriving on the same day as the couple will check-in. Alternatively, hand-deliver the basket if you are in the same city as their honeymoon hotel or put it together and ship it directly to the hotel yourself.
Include the couple's names on the package and let the concierge know it will be coming.
