Cartier watches are elegant and expensive, making them a popular timepiece choice among many individuals. When first purchasing your watch you need to know how to open and close the watch. If you have never worked a watch like this, it may seem a bit confusing until you get the hang of it. Cartier watches are built with a hidden safety clasp, giving a smooth finished design to your watch band plus giving you added protection in case the watch clasp unhooks.
Place the Cartier watch around your wrist.
Fold the safety clasp over the clasp. The two clasps should easily overlap. The clasp sits directly onto the wrist and the safety clasp is placed on top of that. Gently snap the two clasps into place and a click will confirm that the two are connected.
Place your fingers on each side of the watch band, on the underside of the clasp.
Feel for the clasp's release buttons on each side of the band.
Push the buttons and lift upward. The safety clasp will lift up and away from the other half of the clasp, allowing you to easily slip the watch off of your wrist.
