The Norelco Arcitec 1050CC electric razor is equipped with three shaving heads and a straight trimmer. The chambers beneath each shaving head capture loose hair and other debris during each shave. The Norelco Arcitec 1050CC displays a blinking faucet after each use as a reminder to clean the razor. Hair, skin cells and other debris can build up after a shave, leaving the razor dull and unsanitary. Open and clean the Norelco Arcitec razor after each use for optimal performance and hygiene.
Cleaning the Shaving Heads
Turn off the Norelco Arcitec razor.
Grasp the outside edge of the shaving heads and gently lift them open.
Fill a sink or small container with hot water and add 1 to 2 tsp. mild liquid soap. Swish the razor head in the soapy water for at least 30 seconds.
Rinse the razor head thoroughly with hot water and shake off any excess.
Set the open razor aside to air dry before pressing the shaving heads back into place.
Cleaning the Trimmer
Turn off the Norelco Arcitec razor.
Slide the switch on the side of the razor to move the trimmer forward.
Sweep a small-bristled brush along the trimmer teeth to remove any hair or other debris.
Turn the trimmer on and off, and sweep the brush along the trimmer once again to remove any loosened hair.
Place a drop or two of mineral oil on the trimmer, if necessary. Slide the trimmer back into place with the switch.
