The Philips Norelco shaver is one of the most popular grooming products sold by Philips. Getting the smoothest shave possible with a Philips Norelco requires you to clean the device regularly.

Open the head of the shaver and tap it gently against the side of a sink to allow any loose whiskers to fall free from the head and the blades.

Use the brush that came with your shaver to brush any remaining whiskers from the inside and outside of the shaver.

Run water through the inside and outside of the shaver, removing clumps of hair and cleaning dirty parts.

Disassemble the shaver head--remove the head from the body and remove the blades from the head.

Soak the parts of your shaver in boiling water or disinfecting soap to deep-clean the shaver. Reassemble the pieces for use.
