America’s favorite blanket with sleeves, the Snuggie, has been a popular trend since late 2008. The Snuggie is made of a fleece material and comes in a variety of sizes, colors and patterns. Putting the Snuggie on is a simple procedure that takes less than a minute to accomplish. Then you can plop down into your favorite spot and curl up within your personal blanket. Because it has sleeves, the Snuggie allows you to stay snug in your blanket while leaving your hands free for other tasks.
Open the Snuggie box and remove the Snuggie from inside. It will have to be unfolded from the shipping position. Discard the box.
Hold the Snuggie in front of you and locate the sleeves. The Snuggie will fit onto your body backwards, with the opening of the Snuggie at your back and the solid piece covering your front--similar to a hospital gown.
Insert your arms into the Snuggie sleeves. Reach around at attach the Velcro at the back of the Snuggie to secure the blanket over you. Some Snuggie’s do not have Velcro and will just remain open until you sit down.
Sit down on your favorite chair or couch and tuck the Snuggie around your body. Enjoy the flexibility of moving your arms outside the blanket while relaxing.
