There are many divorce support groups throughout Connecticut. These groups exist for children of divorced parents, adult children of divorce and couples currently separated or going through a divorce. There are groups specifically for men, women, Jews and Catholics. Contact the appropriate group to find out when sessions are held or to confirm scheduled times.
Bananas Split, Too
A divorce support group for children of divorced parents ages 5 to 12, Bananas Split, Too is located in Bristol, Connecticut. Children are encouraged to attend one of the many weekly support meetings. There is no fee.

COPE is a divorce support group in Mansfield, Connecticut, for children of divorced families. This group, which meets weekly, was established for children between the ages of 5 and 8.

The New Life support group at the Archdiocese of Hartford, Connecticut, is for adults going through a separation or divorce. There is no fee.

Finding the Me After We
Finding the Me After We, a support group offered at the Newtown Youth and Family Services, is for young men and women with divorced parents as well as young men and women going through a separation or a divorce. Young adults must be 18 or older to attend. There is no fee, but a reservation is required.

One-on-One Support
The Divorced Men's Association of Connecticut offers support groups around the state for men going through a separation or divorce. There is no fee. Men having difficulties with a current divorce or a past one are encouraged to call a contact person for their area.

Endings
The Women's Center of Greater Danbury offers a separation and divorce support group for women 18 and older. This support group, called Endings, is open to any woman going through a separation or divorce. There is no fee.
