Throwing a baby shower for a friend or family member is very exciting. There are many choices to be made: what games to play, the type of cuisine to serve and which guests to invite. Before the planner can begin to answer these specific questions, a venue must be picked out. In Bucks County, PA, there are many appropriate locations for baby shower events.
Located in Lahaska, Peddler's Village is a scenic and small historic community that contains three possible restaurant choices: Cock 'n Bull, Earl's Bucks County and Sweet Lorraine's. These locations provide private and semi-private rooms for 20 to 200 guests. All three restaurants offer brunch, lunch and dinner banquet menus in various price ranges to fit your needs. In addition, Peddler's Village has over 70 shops for the mom-to-be and her guests to visit.
Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm Estate
The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm Estate is on a beautifully landscaped estate in Holicong, and offers a luxurious venue for a baby shower. Private rooms are available, as well as garden seating for a more informal luncheon. There is also a spa on site that offers facial and massage packages. Adding a prenatal massage for the expectant mother would be an extra special bonus to her extra special day. Valet parking is available at Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm Estate.
Indian Rock Inn
Situated on the Delaware River in Upper Black Eddy, Indian Rock Inn provides a picturesque baby shower location that accomodates10 to 75 guests for a luncheon or dinner. Catering options include a three-, four- or gourmet five-course meal in either buffet or sit-down style for the guests.
Rose Bank Winery
In the city of Newtown, the Rose Bank Winery was built in 1719 and can accommodate baby showers of up to 75 guests. The party would be held in the two-story barn that overlooks the vineyard and green pastures. Since the restaurant does not offer on-site catering, you must supply the shower food or bring in your own caterer. Upon request, Rose Bank Winery will provide a list of suggested caterers to aid in the planning process.
