They're quite expensive to purchase, and making your own is cheap, easy and fun. Making korker bows is would be a great craft project for a baby shower or a little girl's birthday party.
Cut korker ribbon into 2.5-inch sections. Use scissors or a rotary cutter and cutting mat, and cut 20 to 35 pieces of ribbon (depending on how full you'd like the bow to be).
Prevent fraying by applying either a seam sealant or clear nail polish to the ends.
Cut a 12-inch piece of elastic or string. Lay elastic or string on a flat, even surface.
Place grouping of korker ribbon on top of the string, and pull the string up tightly around the ribbons. Tie it tightly, and double knot it.
Turn bow over, and make sure all ribbons are lined up evenly and make adjustments if necessary. If you want, you can apply some hot glue around the string to hold the ribbons tightly together.
Use glue to attach bow to a barrette, alligator clip, headband, ponytail holder, safety pin or brooch pin.
