Hair weaves are created with human hair or synthetic fibers and are available in many different textures, including wet and wavy, straight, kinky and curly. For many people, hair weaves give them the opportunity to change the length, texture and style of their hair as often as they want. Whether you buy synthetic or human hair weave, you must take the proper steps to maintain it. Wavy and curly weave textures especially, can lose definition and become tangled if not cared for properly.
Use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to remove knots or tangles from your Wet & Wavy weave.
Wash and condition weave every 7-14 days with a high quality shampoo and conditioner.
Blow-dry your Wet & Wavy weave on a low heat setting or allow weave to air-dry completely.
Style weave with a soft bristle brush and your favorite moisturizer or styling products.
Avoid using heat styling tools on synthetic Wet & Wavy weaves.
Braid weave into 2-4 braids before going to sleep. Always sleep with a silk or satin scarf or pillow.
Wear your Wet & Wavy weave in 2 braids or a ponytail when exercising.
Cover your Wet & Wavy weave with a swimming cap when swimming in chlorinated pools and to avoid getting the weave wet.
