How to Stop Ingrown Leg Hair

Ingrown leg hair can be a painful, unsightly symptom of shaving with a dull or rusty razor. If you are prone to ingrown hairs, you can get them from almost any type of hair removal, and they can be very difficult to get rid of. If you are suffering with ingrown leg hairs, there are a few things you can do to make your legs appear smoother and less irritated.

Prepare a solution of one part kosher salt to one part olive oil. Before shaving your legs, rub your skin in this solution until the salt dissolves.

Rinse your legs thoroughly. Shave with a new three-blade razor, or whatever razor works best with your skin. Rinse and dry your legs thoroughly.

Crush up three aspirin tablets and mix in a small bowl of rubbing alcohol until the pieces dissolve.

Apply the alcohol solution to your legs with your fingers. Allow the mixture to dry.

Every time you shave, apply the salt mixture beforehand and the alcohol mixture afterward.
