People purchase leather shoes not just because they're fashionable but because the leather has a reputation of lasting a long time. While this is true, leather is not resistant to all things; it can cut or tear if subjected to sharp objects. Luckily, you don't need to throw out your leather shoes if they rip or tear. Specially formulated adhesives, made just for leather, can sometimes seamlessly repair even the deepest cut.
Apply your special leather adhesive to each side of the leather cut that needs repairing. Give it two to 10 minutes to cure.
Attach both sides of the cut to one another in the exact way that you want them to bond. Make sure the seal you form is straight and not crooked.
Allow at least 24 hours to dry before you touch or wear the shoe.
