How to Make an Iced Mocha

by Contributor

Items you will need

  • 1 to 3 shots espresso
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 2 cups milk
  • Whipped cream

Iced mocha is a great drink but the cost can really add up if you're buying from a coffee house. If you have a regular iced mocha habit, it would be wise to invest in an espresso machine and learn to make your own iced mocha drinks at home. Brew a double-strength pot of coffee to make your mocha if an espresso machine isn't an option.

Step 1

Brew 1 to 3 shots of fresh espresso, depending on the strength of coffee you like in your iced mocha. Mix in the chocolate syrup while the espresso is still hot.

Step 2

Fill a 16-ounce glass with ice and pour in the chocolate espresso.

Step 3

Fill the glass to 1 inch from the top with ice cold milk and stir.

Step 4

Add whipped cream and dust the top with cocoa powder or a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
