Bachelorette parties are known for being raunchy, bawdy affairs that help the bride celebrate one last night out as a single woman. But that kind of party is simply not fitting for every bride. If you are throwing a bachelorette party for a woman who wants something a bit more classy, consider another type of party. There are lots of fun and clean ideas for bachelorette parties.
Slumber Party
If bars aren't really the bride's thing, invite her best friends over to your house for a slumber party. The girls can wear their pajamas, or change into them once they get there. Cook the bride's favorite dinner, or order takeout from her favorite restaurant. Mix up the bride's favorite cocktails, such as margaritas, mojitos or martinis. Then, watch movies such as "Father of the Bride" or "The Wedding Planner." Another fun activity for a slumber bachelorette party is manicures and pedicures. Purchase all the supplies you need to do one another's nails, such as lots of cute polish colors, files and cuticle sticks.
New Age
If the bride is into new age ideas, throw a party that she can really get into. Ask her best friends over to your house and start the night off with dinner and cocktails. Light plenty of candles and incense to set the mood. Hire a fortune teller to come over to your house and predict everyone's future once the party has gotten started. You could also purchase tarot cards for the party guests to play with.
Wine Tasting
Go to a winery or upscale wine bar for a tasting. Tell the winery or bar ahead of time that you are bringing a bachelorette party. You can likely get a private tasting or even reserve a room at the bar. A wine expert can introduce the group to lots of different types of wine and explain what their best pairings are. Have plenty of appetizers that go well with wine, such as exotic gourmet cheeses and chocolate-covered strawberries. Once the wine tasting is over, the bachelorette party guests can hang out and drink a couple glasses of the the type they enjoyed the most.
Beach
Head to the beach for a fun and clean bachelorette party. If you live near a beach you can drive down for the day. If you don't, go for a weekend with the bride's best friends. Rent a condo or a house and lie out in the sun and play in the water during the day. At night, enjoy dinner at the beach city's best restaurant. If the bride wants, go for a few drinks at a cool bar.
