The Best Eye Creams for Men

Although many skincare companies market their eye creams to women through the use of feminine packaging and flowery scents, the skin around men's eyes need protection and treatment, too. Thankfully, several skincare manufacturers have released eye creams that have won the praise of men's interest magazines and skincare testers. These creams all include topical vitamins, emollients and skin-conditioning protectants that can help fight wrinkles and other common skin issues, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Patricia Wexler Intensive 3-in-1 Eye Cream

This anti-aging eye cream, designed by Dr. Patricia Wexler, comes recommended by "Men's Fitness" magazine. The magazine praises its ability to help correct poor skin conditions including puffy bags, wrinkles and dark under-eye circles. The magazine reports that regular use "actually gives your skin a tighter appearance." Beneficial ingredients include topical vitamins and emollients that moisturize your cells.

Garnier Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Cream

"Consumer Reports" magazine, the official magazine of the Consumers Union, tested Garnier's eye cream and noted that it was more effective than many other competitors found on drugstore shelves. It works as a unisex eye cream, thanks to non-feminine packaging and a lack of perfumes or fragrances. This latter quality also makes it acceptable for use on sensitive skin. Garnier includes antioxidants and moisturizers—both can help fight wrinkles, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Korres Natural Products Ruscus & Chestnut Men’s Cream SPF 15

Korres' facial cream can be used all over your face, including near your eyes. Its sunscreen protection factor of 15 makes it especially important for the eye region, where the thin and sensitive skin can become wrinkled due to exposure to the sun's ultraviolet light. Dr. David Colbert, a dermatologist reporting to "Men's Journal" magazine, recommends it as a good anti-wrinkle treatment for men.

Isomers R Pur Eyes

Isomers' unisex eye cream was reviewed and inspected by skincare tester Paula Begoun, author of "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me." She notes that it comes formulated to specifically reduce under-eye puffiness and bags. The manufacturer also includes soy antioxidants. Begoun notes that two of its herbal extracts are typically sold as herbs designed to "increase sexual motivation." The small amount absorbed through an eye cream won't have any actual effect on the rest of the body—but men may find this factor intriguing.
