A cherry bomb is a type of shot -- bomb shots consist of a shot of liquor, usually flavored, dropped into a glass of chaser, such as cola, juice or beer, and consumed all at once. Use a highball glass and a shot glass to make the cherry bomb.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce of cherry-flavored vodka
- 3 ounces of your favorite energy drink
- 1 splash of grenadine
Pour the Energy Drink and Grenadine
Combine your chosen energy drink and the splash of grenadine in the highball glass. The grenadine is intended only to add color and a very small amount of flavor, so add it sparingly.
Pour the Shot
Pour the cherry-flavored vodka into a shot glass.
Drop the "Bomb"
Carefully drop the vodka-filled shot glass into the highball glass. The shot glass will displace the energy drink-grenadine mix, causing all three liquids to combine.
