Many people experience dry skin and use moisturizers to relieve this problem. Dry skin tends to get worse in the winter months because of the drop in relative humidity. The good news is, that dry skin does respond well to external treatments, such as lotions and oils. Try making your own oil with glycerin treatment.
Measure 1/3 of a cup of glycerin into a bowl. The glycerin will be sticky, so make sure you get it all.
Mix 1/3 of a cup of rosewater into the glycerin. This will take a little time, because of the sticky properties of the glycerin.
Stir in 1/3 of a cup of lemon juice. The lemon is believed to bring more softening properties to the mixture.
Pour the ingredients into a clean bottle and shake gently.
