The G-Shock watch is a man's digital watch that features several functions. Not only is it solar-powered, but it also uses a radio signal to keep an accurate measure of time. When you initially set the time zone on your G-Shock watch, it will keep the time accurately. If you move into a new time zone, however, you will need to change the time. The G-Shock is capable of keeping the time for 29 time zones around the world.

Change Time Zone in American Cities

Stand outside with your G-Shock watch and stand away from windows and tall buildings. You need to have a strong radio signal available to set your watch.

Press the side button located at the 10 o'clock position to program the watch. The watch will pick up the nearest radio signal and should flash a "USA" message if you are in the States.

Hit the button at the 4 o'clock position to load the list of western cities. Hit the button at the 2 o'clock position to browse through city names. When it lands on your city, or the closest one to it, hit the 10 o'clock button to set it.
