Yogurt Face Mask for Acne

by Kimbry Parker

If acne is covering your face and you’re feeling like you are back in your pre-teen years, look no further than your refrigerator for some help. Maybe you’ve tried all the face washes, masks and ointments that claim to clear up acne, but one thing you probably haven’t thought to use is yogurt. When applied topically to your skin, yogurt not only combats acne with its antibacterial and antifungal properties, it can also fade age spots and acne scars. So next time your skin needs zit zapping, feed your skin with a yogurt face mask to help clear up your complexion.

Put 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of honey.

Combine all the ingredients well with a spoon.

Wash your face using your usual face wash.

Pat skin dry.

Smooth the yogurt mixture onto your entire face and neck.

Leave it on your skin for 30 minutes to dry.

Clean your face with a warm washcloth to remove the paste.

Pat your face dry with a soft towel.
