Locating an inmate in the Philadelphia, PA prison system can be challenging unless you know where to begin. If you are looking for someone you suspect is being housed in the Philadelphia prison system, these instructions will lead you step-by-step through this process.

Collect the information about the person you are trying to find, such as their full name, date of birth, and which facility they might be housed in. If you have information such as a PPN number, this can be very helpful.

Log onto the Philadelphia Prison Systems website to access the inmate database. On the right hand side of the page, click "Inmate Locator" and input the person's information.

Scan the results to find the facility, PPN, name, and date of birth of the person you are trying to locate. If you cannot find a match, this website also has the address and telephone numbers for each facility
