Tobacco contains an ingredient called nicotine that, over time and with repeated exposure, causes unsightly stains and discoloration. If you are a regular tobacco-user, you can end up with tobacco stains in your moustache. When you prefer not to shave or trim it off to get rid of the stained facial hair, you can clean the stains out instead.
Place 1 tbsp. baking soda in a bowl. Add 1 1/2 tsp. hydrogen peroxide and stir both ingredients with the toothbrush.
Scoop up the baking soda and peroxide paste and brush it onto your tobacco-stained moustache using the toothbrush. Coat your facial hair heavily with the paste, from roots to ends, then let it sit on your moustache for 10 minutes.
Rinse your moustache with warm water to remove the baking soda paste. Dry your moustache with a clean towel. Check to see if any tobacco stain remains and proceed to the next step to remove remaining stains.
Wet your moustache with warm water. Pour three or four drops of clarifying shampoo onto your fingers and work into your moustache. Lather up the shampoo, then allow it to remain on your facial hair for a few minutes.
Splash warm water on your moustache to wash away the shampoo and remaining tobacco stains. Towel-dry your moustache.
