Hot towels are regularly used to relax people after shaves, during facials or at the end of long-haul flights. Although they are often considered a luxury, they are actually very simple to make yourself. It doesn't take more than a minute, and holding a hot towel to your face and body is a good way to de-stress at the end of the day. It is also possible to add essential oils to the towel to create your own aromatherapy hot towel experience.
Put the towel under a cold tap and thoroughly wet it through.
Wring out as much of the water as you can until the towel is 80 to 90 percent dry.
Put the towel in the microwave on high for 20 to 30 seconds.
Carefully remove the hot towel and dab on your face and neck.
