Airwalk boots are a less expensive alternative to Uggs, a brand of Australian sheepskin boots. Unlike Uggs, Airwalk boots are made from a synthetic, suede-like material. They are less water-resistant than Uggs, so regular cleaning is a necessity. Consider treating your boots with a water and stain repellent before wearing them to better protect them from everyday wear and tear. When the boots become dirty, clean them as soon as possible to prevent stains from setting in.
Lightly brush off dirt and dust from the boots with a clean, dry cloth. Be gentle to avoid accidentally rubbing dirt into the fabric.
Treat the boot with a cleaning product specifically formulated for synthetic fabrics. Test an inconspicuous patch of the shoe first to make sure the cleaner does not damage the fabric. Apply the solution to the entire surface of the shoe to prevent unattractive water marks. Wipe excess cleaner off with a lightly damp cloth.
Allow the shoe to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Store the boots away from direct heat or sunlight while they are drying.
Brush the boots in one direction with a soft-bristled brush to restore the texture of the fabric.
