Cinnamon is an astringent; it helps plump your skin cells and increase circulation to areas where it meets the skin. Cinnamon is an ideal ingredient in face masks where you want finer lines and healthy looking skin. Mix it with some ingredients to help exfoliate your face and you will achieve a healthy glow after every application.
Spicy Cream Mask
Cream has proteins in it that help keep your face glowing and healthy along with the cinnamon. Include some orange essential oil into your mask for a pleasant scent. Vitamin C has the added benefit of spurring collagen production, which can help make your facial skin look younger. Add sugar to the mix to thicken it and give your mask the ability to exfoliate your skin. Rub the compound on your face in circular motions and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Cinnamon Avocado Mask
A healthy dose of avocado as a topical agent will help give your face a healthy dose of vitamin E, which helps keep your skin smooth and healthy. Couple this with cinnamon and you will have plump, healthy facial skin. To get the glow, add some finely ground walnuts to the mixture. Place the avocado in a food processor with a teaspoon of olive oil. The olive oil provides your skin with more vitamin E and helps the avocado reach a creamy texture. Blend all the ingredients together until you have a paste suited for your mask.
Zesty Yogurt Mask
Yogurt is food that will provide your skin with anti-aging vitamins. It comes in a state ready for spreading, so there’s very little prep work required when you make a yogurt face mask. Dump a tablespoon of cinnamon into some plain vanilla yogurt (avoid fruit yogurt or your mask may be chunky). Add a 1/2 tsp. of Omega-3 oil to the mixture and stir it until it homogenizes. The Omega-3 oil provides your skin with fats that soften it and make it more vibrant. Spread it over your face and wait 15 minutes before you rinse it off.
Cinnamon Coffee Mask
Coffee can work wonders when you don't feel alert, but its uses don't stop there. Mixing some coffee with cinnamon and including it in a face mask will help improve the blood flow to your face and firm up your skin. The caffeine in coffee is what really does the trick when it comes to firming your face. Mix the coffee and cinnamon with some baking soda. The baking soda will exfoliate your face, giving it a glow. Add it all to plain cooked oatmeal and smear it across your face for 10 minutes.
