How to Make Pre-Shave Oil
Pour 1/2 cup olive oil and 1/2 cup jojoba oil into 4-oz container.

Add 4–5 drops of essential oil to olive oil and jojoba oil mixture. In this project, we used an oil blend of spruce, rosewood and frankincense.

Seal and shake bottle to mix ingredients. Place the printable pre-shave oil label on the front of the bottle.

How to Make Shaving Cream
Add 1/2 cup virgin coconut oil and 1/2 cup pure shea butter to a microwave-safe container.

Microwave coconut oil and shea butter blend for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave an additional 30 seconds. If mixture is not completely melted, microwave an additional 15 seconds.

Add 2 tablespoons olive oil to mixture.

Add 4-5 drops of essential oil. In this project, we used an oil blend of spruce, rosewood and frankincense. Stir.

Refrigerate until solid. Then whisk for 1-2 minutes on high speed with a standing or handheld electric mixer until mixture is fluffy.

Fill jar with mixture and add printable shaving cream label to front of jar.

How to Assemble the Kit
Place the pre-shave oil, the shaving cream and a shaving brush into a cigar box filled with crinkle cut paper filler.

This homemade shaving kit doesn't take long to make and is sure to sure to impress the loved ones in your life. While the essential oil we used in these two recipes have a masculine scent, you can easily modify the recipes with a lavender or vanilla oil.
