CA Gov. Brown Says Legal Pot Isn’t a Good Idea: “We Need to Stay Alert” They may have called him “Moonbeam” in the past, but liberal California governor Jerry Brown still draws the line when it comes to potheads. This past Sunday on “Meet the Press,” he expressed concern over the idea of legalizing pot in California, saying he wants to see how things shake out in states like Colorado before supporting it himself. “How many people can get stoned and still have a great state or a great nation?” he asked. “I think we need to stay alert, if not 24 hours a day, more than some of the potheads might be able to put together.” Photo: Rawstory.com
