How to Make Your Own Sheet Mask for the Best Skin This Winter

Changing seasons means changing skin. Our skin has to adjust with each slight shift in weather, and cold spells tend to do the biggest number on our precious pores. With less sun and less vitamin D to soak up, we face more skin challenges. During colder months you’re likely to battle dry or dull skin, chapped lips, breakouts, eczema or rosacea flare-ups.

Rescue has arrived! You can easily calm any type of skin problem using the right combination of spices and plants right from your own pantry. The Skin Regenerator Sheet Mask is a simple, DIY beauty treatment you can do at home. This all-over skin cure is a fraction of the cost of high-end salon treatments, but with the same stunning, beautifying effects.

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • 1 cotton or gel beauty mask (you can find these on Amazon)
  • Boiling water
  • 1 cup of organic fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of organic cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of organic turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon of organic manuka honey

Bring the water to a boil, and then add the fenugreek seeds. Let them sit overnight. The next day, drain the water from the seeds (TIP: Save this water — you can use it as a facial toner or hair hydrator!). Blend the fenugreek seeds into a paste.

In one bowl, combine the fenugreek seeds, cinnamon, turmeric and honey and mix everything together. Spread the ingredients onto the cotton or gel mask.

When you’re ready to use, apply the mask to a clean face. Then just relax for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the mask and toss it (they're note reusable). Then wash your face with filtered water. Now enjoy your glowing complexion!
