Cosco highchairs are created to be easy to store when not in use. For storage purposes, they fold into a thin position enabling them to fit into tight spots. To ensure the safety of your child, it is important that you know how to correctly fold the highchair. This will prevent damage to any of the parts upon them being moved. The process is fairly simple and only takes a few minutes. The process is like that of other folding high chairs.
Step 1
Remove the tray from the Cosco highchair. Pull the tray upward with one hand on each side. Upward pressure will release the plastic tabs from the metal bar under the tray.
Step 2
Press downward on both of the levers located on the backside of the chair to release the seat. The seat will fall downward and perpendicular to the floor.
Step 3
Press the seat toward of the back of the high chair until you hear a snapping noise. This will lock the seat into a folded position.
