Lasagna is sort of the father of spaghetti. It has all the flavor of spaghetti, except it is baked in the oven. In addition, lasagna contains cottage cheese, which adds it an extra special taste, bringing out the natural flavors in the other ingredients. The full process of making lasagna only takes about 30 to 40 minutes.

Add water to pot, and bring to a boil on a medium-high heat. Add the noodles and let boil for about 15 minutes, or until tender.

Add salt and pepper to the ground beef, and fry it in the skillet until beef is brown.

Mix ground beef, spaghetti sauce, onion powder, salt and pepper together in the mixing bowl.

Put a layer of noodles in the bottom of the baking dish, then add the meat mix, then the grated cheese and lastly the cottage cheese. Repeat this layering until the baking dish is filled. The top layer should be cottage cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 to 15 minutes, and serve.
