How to Make Baby Powder

by Genae Valecia Hinesman

Here is a terrific natural herbal powder that you can easily make at home that is exceptional in preventing diaper rash. Its gentle ingredients make it perfect for babies. Other possible uses include using this powder to relieve heat rashes or athlete’s foot, both of which are caused by warm and moist conditions. Both chamomile and arrowroot are naturally safe and hypoallergenic. Together, they will keep your skin dry and discourage irritations due to moisture and friction.

Items you will need

  • 1 cup of arrowroot herb powder
  • 1 cup of dried chamomile herb
  • Blender
  • Container for storage
Step 1

Place the chamomile into the blender.

Step 2

Use the blender to grind the chamomile into a very fine powder.

Step 3

Stop the blender every few seconds and rub a bit between your fingers to ensure that there remains no grit or large fragments.

Step 4

Add the arrowroot and blend with the chamomile until fully incorporated.

Step 5

Place your herbal baby powder in a container.
