An ambrosia apple is a medium-sized, pink, orange and green-colored apple, originally cultivated in Western Canada. According to Orange Pippin, ambrosia apples are known for their sweetness. Full of fiber, they contain relatively few calories, making them a healthy choice for calorie-conscious dieters.
