Starting off your organic facial beauty regime, the first step is to use a good cleanser. Organic facial cleansers come at different price ranges. A fairly inexpensive, but good organic cleanser is the Frankincense Deep Cleansing Balm for Balm Balm. This cleanser, which is mostly made out of Shea butter, grapefruit oil and calendula flowers, is suitable for every skin type, but does especially wonders for itchy skin and skin suffering from eczema.
A high-quality, mid-price organic cleanser is the Free Cleanser by Green People. This cleanser purifies the face without irritating it and is therefore especially suited for sensitive skin. Another benefit of this cleanser is that it is fragrance free.
If you're looking for an organic cleanser that is more targeted at a specific skin type, then consider buying a cleanser from Kora Organics. This organic beauty range, which was created by Miranda Kerr, offers cleansers for dry/normal skin, normal/sensitive skin, and combination/oily skin. Although this cleanser is more pricey, it will cleanse your skin in a way specifically suited for your skin type. This cleanser feels light on your face and you only need to use a tiny bit of it to clean your entire face.
The next step is to eliminate any leftover make-up or dirt from your face with the use of a toner. If you want, you can skip this step and directly apply your moisturizer after you cleaned your face, however, a toner will clean your pores deep and leave your skin with fewer impurities.
If you don't want a separate toner, Crystal Cleanse And Tone from Evolve is a good option. This 2-in-1 toner and cleanser purifies and protects your skin at the same time. This product is therefore also a good choice if you want to watch your budget. In addition, it has a lovely rich and creamy texture.
If you do want to invest in a separate toner, the Claudalie Moisturizing Toner is definitely a good choice. Its one of the most sold organic toners, because of its cleaning and hydrating abilities. The main components of this toner are citrus flower and watermelon, which add a lovely smell to product as well.
The final step is to hydrate your skin using an organic moisturizer. Organic moisturizers also come at different price ranges. A budget friendly organic moisturizer is the Iris Day Cream from Weleda. This cream hydrates the skin without making it oily and is also suitable for combination and/or oily skin.
One of the most popular organic moisturizer is the Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream. Avocado, sesame and wheat oils are used to hydrate and to eliminate any redness. Although this cream is a bit more pricey, it is a true investment.
Organic Face Masks
If you want to really treat your skin, it is a good idea to use an organic face mask once a week, next to your cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Choose either a deep cleansing mask or a hydrating mask, depending on the results that you want. For deep cleansing, The Deep Cleansing Mask by Living nature is a good option. It is made out of clay and clears out your pores, and minimizes them. A good organic hydrating mask is the Aveda Intense Hydrating Mask. This mask will leave your skin feeling soft and moisturized. If you want to extra hydrate your skin, you can leave this mask on your face overnight.
