Peanut Butter at Home in Minutes
Making food from scratch can make you feel like a kid again. It conjures up memories of sitting in the kitchen with your mom, stirring the bowl and sneaking a taste. With your busy schedule, making memories like these with your kids might sometimes be difficult, but not impossible. Especially with something like homemade peanut butter that only has three ingredients.
Use this basic peanut butter recipe to make any nut butter.
Total Time: 10 minutes | Prep Time: 5 minutes | Serves: 12
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shelled, unsalted peanuts
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions:
- In a food processor, add the peanuts, oil and salt. Blend until smooth, about 2 to 3 minutes, scraping the sides as needed.
- Transfer to a container with a lid and keep in the refrigerator.
