Monster brand energy drinks produces Monster Energy, Java Monster, Nitrous and X-Presso drinks. The company prides itself on the small amount of television advertising it pays for and the support it gives to bands and sports such as motocross, NASCAR Truck, BMX, surfing, skateboadring and wakeboarding. The company produces eleven types of Monster Energy drinks.

Monster Energy (Original)

The original Monster Energy drink displays the classic green "M" Monster logo on the can. The catch phrase for this drink is "Unleash the Beast." It is advertised as delivering twice the buzz of a typical energy drink. Major ingredients advertised in the original Monster Energy drink are: L.- Carnitine, taurine, ginseng and B vitamins. Half a can contains 100 calories.

Assault

Monster Energy's Assault drink displays a red "M" Monster logo on the can and has a black and gray camouflage background. The drink's catchphrase is "Viva la Revolution!" and is supposed to be mock war-themed. Advertising for this energy drink avoids conveying any sort of political agenda, and directs consumers instead to "declare war on the ordinary." Major ingredients advertised in the Assault Monster Energy drink are: L.- Carnitine, taurine, ginseng and B vitamins. Half a can contains 100 calories.

Khaos

Monster Energy's Khaos drink displays an orange "M" Monster logo on the can. The drink's catchphrase is "50% juice - 100% Monster." Advertising explains that the natural juices in the drink mean more vitamins, but the same amount of buzz as any other Monster Energy drink. Major ingredients advertised in the Khaos Monster Energy drink are: L.- Carnitine, taurine, ginseng and B vitamins. Half a can contains 70 calories.

MIXXD

Monster Energy's MIXXD energy drink displays a purple "M" Monster logo on the can. The drink's catchphrase is "The juice is loose..." This drink is advertised as a wild blend of back-up flavorings meant to mimic a punch at a party. The drink is also advertised as 30% juice and 100% Monster. Major ingredients advertised in the MIXXD Monster Energy drink are: L.- Carnitine, taurine, ginseng and B vitamins. Half a can contains 110 calories.

Import and Import Light

The Import series of Monster Energy are in European-style resealable cans. The Import drink displays a green "M" Monster logo with an eagle in the background. The Import Light drink displays a light blue "M" Monster logo with an eagle in the background. The can was inspired by cans seen at the Spanish Moto GP. Half a can of the Import is 90 calories. Half a can of the Import Light is only 25 calories. Major ingredients advertised in these drinks are: L.- Carnitine, taurine, ginseng and B vitamins.

Absolutely Zero

Monster Energy's Absolutely Zero displays a black "M" Monster logo in a misty background of light blue. The catchphrase for the Absolutely Zero drink is "Absolutely Guaranteed!" The drink was created after many requests for a zero calorie Monster Energy drink. Major attributes advertised in this drink are: zero sugar and zero calories. Half the can is 0 calories and contains 0 percent of the daily value of carbohydrates.

Lo-Carb

Monster Energy's Lo-Carb energy drink displays a light blue "M" Monster logo. The catch phrase for this drink is the same as the original Monster Energy drink: "Unleash the Beast." The drink is advertised as still delivering twice the buzz as a typical energy drink, but containing only a fraction of the calories. Major ingredients advertised the Lo-Carb Monster Energy drink are: L.- Carnitine, taurine, ginseng and B vitamins. Half the can contains only 10 calories.

M-80

Monster Energy's M-80 energy drink displays a yellow "M" Monster logo on the can. The M-80 has the same catchphrase as MIXXD: "The juice is loose." This is because the M-80 is "80% juice - 100% Monster." Inspiration for this tropical drink came from Monster's Pipeline Pro Surf competition in Oahu. Advertising explains that the drink contains a lot of juice, but still gives the classic Monster buzz. Major ingredients advertised in this drink are: L.- Carnitine, taurine, ginseng and B vitamins. Half the can contains 90 calories.

Dub Edition

Monster Energy's Dub Edition displays a yellow "M" Monster logo encased in a purple and silver background. The can is a European-style resealable can. The drink does not have a catchphrase and is advertised as "high performance fuel." Half the can contains 110 calories. Major ingredients advertised in this drink are: L.- Carnitine, taurine, ginseng and B vitamins.

M3

Monster Energy's M3 displays a classic green "M3" Monster logo on the bottle. The drink is a small, 5 fl. oz. bottle. It does not have a catchphrase and does not have many advertised ingredients or attributes. Instead it is advertised as "super concentrated." It is advertised as carrying the same 16 fluid ounce buzz in a five fluid ounce bottle. One bottle contains 50 calories.
