How to tie a western string tie

Every cowboy needs a string tie. It's easy to make your perfectly even, every time.

If nothing says cowboy like a great pair of boots, the next needed accessory has got to be the western string tie. Here’s a simple way to easily and quickly accent your western wear.

Step 1

First drape the tie around your neck with one side hanging about four inches longer than the other.

Step 2

Take the long end and cross it over the short end.

Step 3

Now, cross the long end under the short end, creating a loop.Be careful to keep the loop a little loose.

Step 4

Next, take the long end underneath the short end to make the center loop.

Step 5

Take the long end around the short end and through the center loop.

Step 6

Now just square it off and tighten it to your liking. Yeehaw!.
