When school ends for the year, parents often start looking for summer programs for their children. Nike Swimming Camp
The nike brand-sponsored swimming camps are designed for competitive swimmers. During camp, swimmers will learn to improve their starts, turns and stroke techniques. Two sessions run in mid-June. Camps run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. or overnight and are available to swimmers between the ages of 9 and 18.

Museum Summer Camp
The museum summer camp is designed to teach kids about history in a fun and interactive setting. Camp is held at the Plumb Farm Learning Center or the Lone Valley School at Centennial Center. Sessions run weekly from early June through July, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at noon. Museum Summer Camp is open to children ages 6 through 12. '

Summer Junior Golf Programs
The city of Greeley offers several junior golf programs aimed at all levels of development. Skills taught include safety, swing, course layout and respect. The first session is in early to mid June and the second session runs at the end of July. Junior golf programs are available to all golfers under the age of 18.

Bright Summer Day Camp
The Bright Summer Day Camp is sponsored by the ABC Child Development Centers and features weekly themes and field trips. The camp is designed to promote social interaction, physical activity and learning. Sessions are from late May through early August and offer options that run Monday through Friday, Tuesday and Thursday or Monday, Wednesday and Friday for children between the ages of 5 and 12.

Summer Enrichment Programs
The Summer Enrichment Programs are hosted by the University of Northern Colorado and feature three separate summer programs for gifted and talented children. The Young Child Program is for children ages 4 through 4th grade and is designed to foster intellectual curiosity. It runs in late July. The Summer Enrichment Program is for children in grades 5 through 10 and is a residential program that offers academic classes and sports activities through most of July. The Leadership Enrichment Program is for children in grades 10 through 12 and is a residential program that focuses on teaching teens how to cultivate their leadership potential. It runs through most of July as well.
