As men mature, an embarrassing thing sometimes happens. Hair stops growing in the places that you want it, like your head, and you grow hair on places that you don't want it, like your earlobes. Most of the time victims of earlobe hair are not the first to notice its presence. The first you hear about this unwanted hair is your wife coming at you with the tweezers.
Make an appointment with an aesthetician who specializes in electrolysis. Electrolysis is the process of using a small needle that sends an electrical current into the hair follicle to permanently destroy the hair. You will feel a slight tingle. This is done in a series of appointments. The number of appointments will vary depending on the size of the area being treated.
Make an appointment to see a doctor who specializes in laser hair removal. This is also permanent. You are good candidate for this if you have dark hair and fair skin.
Wax your earlobes. This can be done at a spa or salon that has an aesthetician. If you are brave you can also get a waxing kit, and do it yourself. It can be messy and a bit tricky. Waxing involves applying warm wax over the area you want the hair gone. A piece of muslin or cloth will then be placed on top of the wax and rubbed, the cloth is then quickly pulled off, along with the hair and root. This is not permanent, The hair will grow back in two to four weeks.
Tweeze your earlobes. This is much easier done with the help of somebody else. It is pretty hard to tweeze your own earlobes, and can be dangerous. This is also not permanent. As with waxing, hair will grow back after two to four weeks.
Shave your earlobes. You want to be very careful when doing this. This area is hard to see. Use a mirror and go slow.
Trim the hair. You will not be able to get as close to the skin as you would with a razor. It is best to have someone else do this for you, you don't want to cut yourself.
