Trim off both ends of each plantain with a knife. Make a vertical cut on the plantain and remove the skin. Lay the peeled plaint ain on a chopping board and Cut the plantain into a desired shape. Make the portions thicker to make it easier to turn during cooking. Sprinkle with salt and pepper
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Gently fry the plantains until they are golden brown. Lift them and place them on a flat plate that has an oil blotting paper. Wait for the excess oil to be absorbed. Transfer the plantains to another plate. Serve the plantains with the dish of your choice
To make the plantains spicy,cut the plaintains as explained in step 1. season them with a blended mixture of 2 hot peppers, grated ginger, salt and water.Deep fry
