If you are looking for a gentle but effective facial cleanser that is made from all natural products, the best place to look is in your own kitchen. In fact, you can make an all-natural cucumber facial cleanser with items from your kitchen. With just a cucumber and and a little milk, you can create a gentle facial cleanser that is free of any harsh chemicals and can be used on any skin type.

Purchase one medium-size cucumber. You will only need one average size cucumber, but if you are buying the smaller pickling cucumber you will want to purchase two of those. You should not try to double the batch of facial cleanser, as it can go bad before you use it all.

Purchase whole milk. If you do not already have whole milk in your kitchen, you will need to purchase a small carton of it. Do not substitute another type of milk, as you will need the thicker whole milk for the cleanser.

Peel and cut the cucumber. You will need to completely peel the cucumber. Once it is peeled you will want to cut it so that it will fit into a food processor. You can just slice it every inch or two.

Process the cucumber. Put your cucumber slices into a food processor. You will want to process the cucumber until it is liquid or as close to liquid as you can get. There will still be seeds in it, so you will want to put a piece of cheese cloth over a bowl or jar and pour the liquid through it so that the cheese cloth will catch the seeds.

Add in the milk. Once you have the seeds out of the liquid cucumber, you will need to add ½ cup of milk to the cucumber. Mix the two liquids with a spoon and refrigerate. Your cucumber facial cleanser can be used immediately if you want, and it will last for about a week. Since it does have milk in it, if it smells ruined, do not use it. When you use it, you will want to wet your face and then apply it liberally with your fingers. Use a wash cloth to remove it after cleansing.
