Create and easy turkey dinner that is elegant enough for Thanksgiving but simple enough for an average weeknight meal for the family.
Inject the turkey breast in various places with Italian dressing. If you do not have a meat injector, marinate the turkey breast overnight in large storage bag.
Season the turkey breast with salt and pepper and place it in a roasting pan. Bake at 350 degrees for at least an hour, or until meat is done thoroughly. Baste every 15 minutes with Italian dressing and check occasionally with the meat thermometer.
Allow the finished meat to sit undisturbed for at least 15 minutes for the juices to distribute evenly after you remove it from the oven.
Prepare side dishes such as potatoes, green beans, carrots or asparagus while the meat is resting.
