Wash your hair. Place a towel around your shoulders. Stand over a sink and pour the mixture into your hair.

Massage the water-vinegar solution into your scalp and leave it in for five minutes. You can either rinse out the mixture or leave it in. This is a basic vinegar hair rinse for shine, suggests Brigitte Mars author of “Beauty by Nature.”

Pour the rosemary infusion from the pot into the glass jar and add 1/2 pint of apple cider vinegar. Shake the bottle to combine all the ingredients.

Transfer some of the vinegar-rosemary mixture into a spray bottle. Spray the solution onto your scalp and rub it in gently with your fingers.
