Getting a fitted baseball cap to fit your head exactly how you want can be frustrating. Once you find the correct size that you should wear, it still may not rest on your head how you would like. Luckily, the wool material that most caps are made with can shrink to your liking.
Run the cap under warm water. Avoid getting the brim wet. You do not need to be wearing the cap as it is getting wet.
Place the cap on your head as you would normally wear it.
Place a towel around your neck, as water will drip down from the cap.
Keep the cap on for at least an hour, as it will take time for it to dry. You will notice the cap feeling tighter around your head.
Adjust and shape the brim to your liking after the cap has dried.
