Beef with broccoli stir-fry is a popular dish in Chinese fast-food chains. It can be better for you to make it at home so that you can make sure of how it is prepared and make it more healthy for you.
Heat up water in a cooking pot. When the water is boiling, toss in the broccoli and carrots. After 30 seconds, use a strainer and pick up all the broccoli. Set aside for later.
Mix one teaspoon of starch with a small amount of cold water. Mix well and set it aside for later.
Set up a wok and add some corn oil. When the oil is about 170 degree F, put in the beef slices. After 1 minute or until the meat is no longer red, add salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce, a small amount of sugar and water.
Cook everything for 20 seconds with constant stirring, and add starch mixture from Step 2.
Put the partially cooked broccoli and carrot from Step 1 and mix for 10 seconds. Add a little bit of sesame oil. Turn off heat, and put it in a plate. Now the beef broccoli is ready to eat.
