Items you will need

  • 3 to 7 pounds of beef loin
  • Paper towels
  • Cutting board or platter
  • Package of dry soup, onion
  • Can of cream of mushroom soup
  • Five potatoes washed and cubed
  • Three carrots, peeled, washed and cubed

Braising is a slow cooking process that naturally tenderizes meat. It takes several hours to slow cook a beef loin steak. Use a worry-free method by relying on a Crock-Pot to slow cook your steak. A Crock-Pot is a brand name of slow cooker. Fill the slow cooker with the loin and vegetables overnight in a good marinade with your favorite herbs. Control the length of time you slow cook by adjusting the setting on your machine.

Step 1

Wash the steak in cool water, and pat it dry with paper towels. Set it aside on a cutting board or platter. Pierce the steak with a fork.

Step 2

Open the soup can. Place one-third of the soup in the bottom of your 5-quart slow cooker. Shake 2 tbsp. of the dry soup mix over the cream of mushroom soup.

Step 3

Place the beef loin steak on the soup mix. Pour the remainder of the soups on top of the steak.

Step 4

Place the potatoes and carrots on top of the steak. Cook the steak on low for six hours.
