How to Get Rid of Dark Circles Quickly

by Megan Richardson

Stress, age, lack of sleep, allergies and dehydration can all lead to dark under-eye circles. There are lifestyle changes that can reduce these circles over time, but when getting ready in the morning, a quick fix is needed. A few simple tricks can utilize ingredients you have around the house, as well as camouflage the bags that are making you look tired.

Items you will need

  • 2 cotton balls
  • Rose water
  • Water
  • 1 potato
  • Moisturizer that contains vitamin E
  • Concealer
Step 1

Dip two cotton balls in rose water and place them under your eyes for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Start drinking water as soon as you wake up. Proper hydration can eliminate dark under-eye circles.

Step 3

Rub moisturizer that contains vitamin E onto the dark circles.

Step 4

Apply a concealer that has yellow undertones over your dark circles. Put on your makeup normally, but be sure to blend in the concealer completely.

Step 5

Place raw potato slices onto your eyes in the evening for 10 minutes. This will prevent under-eye circles from coming back in the morning.
