Clean a Le Creuset Dutch Oven
Cool your dutch oven before cleaning it.
Fill your dutch oven with warm water and allow it to soak for 20 minutes. This will loosen up any food residue that remains in the pan.
Empty water, put a small amount of dish detergent on a soft abrasive pad or plastic scrub brush and work in a circular motion over any debris or build-up. Rinse.
Using a small amount of dish detergent and water wash the inside and the outside of your Le Creuset dutch oven and its cover.
Dry completely and store.
- Make sure Le Creuset dutch oven is completely dry before storing. Le Creuset dutch ovens can be placed in the oven.
- Do not put dutch oven in the dishwasher as it may damage the enamel finish. Do not wash immediately after cooking, allow to cool completely. Do not use metal scouring pads on Le Creuset products. Do not air dry.
