The Casio Edifice EFA-120 is a lightweight, water-resistant timepiece made of stainless steel and glass that displays time in both digital and analog formats. Casio has designed the watch with a wide array of features including world time zone and 12-hour/24-hour timekeeping options as well as stopwatch, timer and ambient temperature monitoring functions. The watch has five buttons along the left and right sides of the module. Adjusting the time on your EFA-120 requires that you select digital and analog times separately and use these buttons to scroll through and set options.
Adjust Digital Time
Press the lower left button on your Casio Edifice EFA-120 until you see the Timekeeping mode on the watch face.
Push and hold the upper left button until you see the seconds on the digital display begin to flash.
Press the lower right button to reset the seconds to “00” or press the lower left button to bypass the seconds setting.
Change the time to Daylight Savings Time (DST) if applicable by pressing the lower right button so that the display shows the word “ON” or press the lower left button to bypass “OF” – the setting for Standard Time (ST).
Adjust the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) differential to set the watch to your correct time zone if necessary by pressing the lower right button to advance to a higher setting number or the middle right button to go to a lower number. If you don’t need to adjust this setting, press the lower left button to move onto the hour and minutes settings.
Push the lower right button to adjust the hour setting to a higher number or the middle right button to adjust the hour setting to a lower number. Push the lower left button and use the lower and middle right buttons to adjust the minutes.
Press the lower right button to switch between “12H” or “24H” settings. When finished, press the upper left button to exit out of the settings.
Adjust Analog Time
Press the lower left button repeatedly until you see the analog Hand Setting mode while in the Timekeeping Mode. Typically, this takes six presses.
Push and hold the upper left button until the digital readout flashes.
Adjust the hands to move forward by pressing the lower right button: one time to move the hands 20 seconds forward or press and hold the button down to move the hands faster. If you want the hands to quickly cycle through a 12-hour period, press and hold the lower right button, press the middle right button and then release both. To stop the hands at or near the correct time, press any button or wait for the hands to stop automatically after the watch moves the hands through a 12-hour period.
Press the upper left button to exit the settings.
