Nike is a popular brand of athletic and everyday foot wear. The shoes come in innumerable colors and designs. Like all leather sneakers, white leather shoes made by Nike are subject to stains. Yellow stains can be caused by pet urine, food or other fluids which can leave an embarrassing mark on your shoes. Fortunately, it is possible to remove these stains using a few affordable items you can purchase at your local supermarket.
Wipe your Nike leather shoes with a clean cloth to remove and excess dirt.
Fill a small container or bowl with water and a small amount of mild liquid detergent. Soak a dry, clean shoe brush into the solution and gently scrub the yellow stained areas in a circular motion. Avoid scrubbing too hard to prevent damage to the white leather.
Rinse the shoes with clean water, blot with a clean cloth and set aside to air dry. If the entire shoe is wet, stuff it with clean power towels and let dry. Avoid newspapers to prevent ink from staining the white leather.
Apply a leather shoe stain remover to the yellow stain if the stain is still visible. Apply the product to your Nike shoes according to the directions in the package. You can purchase leather stain removers at your local drugstore or supermarket.
Wipe the Nike shoes with a clean cloth after applying the stain remover and put the shoe laces back on the shoes.
