Cellulite is never desirable. Even if you eat healthy and exercise, you may still see the familiar lumpy skin that resembles cottage cheese on your body. Cellulite is generally found on the buttocks, stomach and thighs. It is a collection of fat that looks bumpy and dimpled, due to it pushing against connective tissue in the skin. There is no way to remove all cellulite from your body. However, there are anti-cellulite supplements that may reduce the appearance and occurrence of it.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is an excellent anti-cellulite supplement to take. It combats existing cellulite and prevents more from occurring. Vitamin E improves the circulation throughout your body. One of the causes of cellulite can be traced to poor circulation. In addition, the healthy fats in vitamin E smooth and enhance the appearance of the skin, including those areas with cellulite.
Bladderwrack
Bladderwrack is an algae that is also a powerful anti-cellulite supplement. It increases the metabolism which leads to overall fat loss. It is a common ingredient in cellulite-reducing lotions as well. Taken internally, it increases circulation and enhances the thyroid gland. A sluggish thyroid can lead to cellulite.
Calcium
Calcium is a fundamental nutrient for everyone, at all ages. It's best known for creating strong bones and for helping to fight body fat. However, calcium is an anti-cellulite supplement as well. As calcium is key in having healthy hair, skin and nails, it promotes skin elasticity. By nourishing the skin, and promoting healthy skin, the look and content of cellulite will dissipate over time.
