Instructions for Fossil Watches

Fossil brand watches can be a stylish and relatively inexpensive fashion choice for both men and women. They can be purchased at most major department stores and other retailers. Fossil watches are available in many styles, including models that tell the day and time, digital versions, and some that offer multiple functions.

Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to Position 2. You will hear one small click at Position 1 and another at Position 2.

Turn the crown counterclockwise to set the date, which will be visible in a small window on the right side of the face watch.

Once the date is set, turn the crown clockwise to set the day, which is visible next to the date on the face of the watch.

Pull the crown out to Position 3 (you will hear another click). Turn counterclockwise until the time is set, then continue until the day/date is correct as well.

Push the crown back into the side of the watch.

Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to Position 3. You will hear a small click at Position 1, 2 and then 3.

Turn the crown clockwise to set the day of the week, which will be on the top left side of the face.

When the day of the week is correct, continue moving the crown clockwise to set the time.

Push the crown in to Position 2 and turn counterclockwise to set the date. Do not set the date between 9 p.m. and midnight, as doing so may affect the accuracy of the watch.

Press the small button on the right side of the watch (above the crown) to advance the month. If you are setting the month between the 26th and the 31st of the month, you'll need to move the date to one other than the 26th through 31st, adjust the month to the correct setting, and then move the date back to the correct setting. This will help ensure the watch will correctly reflect months shorter than 31 days.
