How to Make Baked Potatoes Low in Calories

0:12 are not so fattening and you know

0:15 potatoes actually are not real fattening

0:18 to begin with it's the butter and all of

0:20 the fat that we put on the butter sour

0:22 cream and things like that that are

0:24 actually a lot more fattening than the

0:26 potatoes themselves a potato has about

0:29 the same amount of calories as an apple

0:31 so you don't have to worry too much

0:32 about the potato so when you bake a

0:35 potato you can I think the main thing

0:38 you don't want it to be dry so there are

0:41 different things you can do to make it

0:42 seem less dry and just more tasty like

0:46 let's say yous just saute onions saute

0:50 onions with or caramelized onions that

0:52 would be really good or sauteed onions

0:54 with garlic sauteed onions with garlic

0:57 bell pepper how about some steamed

1:00 spinach mix it up in the potato you can

1:03 just sort of stuff the potato with some

1:05 steamed spinach or how about maybe

1:06 broccoli and cauliflower steamed and you

1:09 can scoop out part of the potato and put

1:13 some broccoli and cauliflower and it top

1:15 it with a little drizzle of olive oil

1:17 you know that that would be delicious um

1:19 another thing you could take some yogurt

1:21 I use soy yogurt but you could make sure

1:24 it's unsweetened of course and mix it

1:26 with a clove of garlic and a little bit

1:30 of tamari soy sauce put it on your

1:34 potato rather than sour cream a lot of

1:37 different things you can do to make

1:39 baked potatoes of food that you can

1:41 enjoy without guilt
